The product was defect when delivered

A defect / broken product should always be reported within 7 calendar days by means of a request for return. All this is under the condition that inSilk should be in possession of the product within 14 calendar days after the request for return has been approved.

Please take into account that you have to return the product in its original packaging (including labels, stickers, accessories, cards, shapers etc.). Please package products carefully in order to avoid transport damage. All this is meant to prevent problems!

The product has become defect (but was delivered intact)

This condition applies to products that become defect after eight days. Because the guarantee of inSilk is based on the ‘carry in’ principle, both the transport costs from your address to the address of inSilk and the transport costs for the return to your address are payable by you. Our aim is to return the product to you as fast as possible. In a number of cases, however, the product needs to be sent on to the producer/importer. In some cases, the waiting period can therefore extend to several weeks. Some brands have direct producer/importer support if products become defect within the period of guarantee. In this case, we kindly request you to contact the producer directly for the handling of your return. In these cases, the guarantee handling is almost always faster and cheaper than when handled via the seller, because transport goes directly to the producer and costs of this transport are usually paid for by the producer.

Important: your shipment must be agreed with inSilk on forehand. This, to avoid extra costs charged to the custommer in case we need to re-sent your unagreed return or exchange. Just sending the shipment without agreement does not automatically mean that we accept the return or exchange. Please contact us to avoid extra costs.
